Powerhouse COVID-19 update
The Powerhouse Museum prioritises the health of our visitors, members, volunteers and our staff.
In line with the recent advice from NSW Health, face masks are mandatory until 12.01am Monday 17 May at the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney Observatory and Museums Discovery Centre. Please bring your own mask.
Until Monday 17 May, visitors are also unable to dance, sing or drink while standing in an indoor venue. We are taking precautionary measures based on NSW Health advice for all Powerhouse events to keep our visitors and staff safe.
Any visitors who have visited one of the on the NSW Health list or have any cold or flu symptoms, should delay their visit.

At the Sydney Observatory visitors can access the Observatory grounds and building, witness the dropping of the Time Ball at 1pm each day. Night tours at the Sydney Observatory remain suspended.
The Museums Discovery Centre is open free each weekend where visitors can discover historical transport, household and local architecture models, as part of hundreds of objects on display from State museums’ collections.
