The Australian Fashion Council (AFC) is the peak body advocating for the fashion and textile Industry in Australia. It exists to promote, support and guide the recovery, revival and evolution of a thriving, resilient and inclusive industry. Through collaboration and leadership AFC provides resources, support and tools to enable the industry to continue to evolve and thrive. The Australian fashion and textile industry contributes $27.2 billion to the economy annually, employing 489,000 workers, 77% of whom are women.
