“AGDA is Australia’s largest representative association of professional communication designers. We exist to support Australian designers, in all shapes and forms, who want to take control of their careers and businesses. At our core, we’re a community organisation. We’re not-for-profit and here to support our members and the industry.”

The Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA) is the peak national organisation representing the Australian communication design industry. With more than 3,000 members distributed throughout the creative, visual communications, applied design and technology sectors, AGDA is dedicated to advancing the profession through an interrelated program of state, national and international activities in education, advocacy, and professional development. It aims to support and connect designers of all persuasions, from around the globe, bringing their stories to the fore, to enable others like them to find a role model or mentor.
In 2021, AGDA curated a Powerhouse Late event and presented conferences on alternative approaches to sustainability in design and the role of the designer in inclusivity and accessibility.
