Have you ever wondered if you were handling, housing, and displaying your museum objects in the best possible conditions, given varied circumstances?
This informative and hands-on workshop led by Museums Discovery Centre conservator Bronwyn Dunn, will impart practical advice and helpful techniques for keeping museum objects in the best condition.
Bronwyn has a Master of Cultural Material Conservation and a Master of Cultural Heritage and Museum Studies. She will help you to look at your collection with fresh eyes and will enable you to implement positive change in your museum collection.
This event is designed for staff and volunteers working in smaller museums and the collecting sector. The session will conclude with a 1-hour tour, led by a museum registrar, of one of our storage areas. Bookings essential, a light lunch is included.
