School groups explore fascinating current exhibitions led by a Museum educator. Within the galleries, our expert educators engage learners to observe, describe, question and hypothesise. These mediated dialogue activities employ visible thinking routines and documentation strategies to capture evidence of learning. Explore current exhibitions here.
Educator Led experiences employ constructivist approaches including Visible Thinking Routines as developed at Harvard University Graduate School for Education’s Project Zero. A familiarity with these routines prior to the visit, while not essential, will enhance the learning.
Pre and post visit classroom resources support the experience. Please let our bookings team know the learning purpose, curriculum topic or area of interest intended for the visit at the time of booking.
