Zampatti Powerhouse Italian Language Tours

Duration: 1 hour
Tour
3 and 11 December 2022 Powerhouse Museum Book Tickets

In partnership with Italian language school Co.As.It, Powerhouse is proud to offer specialised Italian language tours of Zampatti Powerhouse. These educational and informal tours will occur within the exhibition space and are available to join at both beginners and intermediate levels. Tours are delivered in line with Co.As.It learning progression stages and curriculum so you can further develop your skills in a fun, themed setting.

Immerse yourself in the life and legacy of Carla Zampatti, and learn new fashion, art, and design-themed terms in a beginners tour that highlights key moments of the exhibition while introducing you to the Italian language. If you are feeling more confident, join an intermediate tour where you can practice conversational Italian while learning about the people and objects that have come to represent Carla Zampatti during her remarkable and rich life.  The tours are delivered by a Co.As.It guide and will be in both English and Italian with plenty of room for participants to ask questions and learn simple, everyday Italian. While there are no age restrictions, tours are recommended for adults to best suit the themes of the exhibition and types of conversations and dialogues one might have when using conversational Italian. Forza!

Co.As.It Italian Association of Assistance was established in NSW in 1968, under the auspice of the Italian Government to help the large number of Italian migrants who came to Australia Post WWII era. Today, Co.As.It NSW is one of the largest and most active CALD-focused agencies, offering a wide range of community services and programs spanning education to cultural activities.
