The Museums Discovery Centre is partnering with Western Sydney University to deliver an engineering workshop for participants aged 8–12.
Participants will experiment with different geometric shapes and determine how they affect the strength of materials to explore the concepts of physics, engineering, mathematics, aerodynamics and creative thinking.
Design and create 3-dimensional model beam bridges with the goal to build the strongest bridge and create and test diverse types of paper planes to determine what makes them successful.
This workshop is free, but bookings are essential as places are limited. This is a family workshop and parental supervision is required. Please register tickets for children and at least one adult.
