VR Hackathon-mini

Workshop
22 October 2015, 8am–5.00pm Powerhouse Museum

Join young people in Years 9 and 10 from around Sydney for the inaugural VR Hackathon-mini. Young people take control for a day of creative VR problem-solving, powered by snacks and high speed internet, and supported by a team of industry experts, tech start-up gurus and educator collaborators.

In this intensive day of conversation, teamwork and coding, young hackers will conceive, develop and display their VR prototypes in the race to win some stellar tech prizes.

Sign up your A-team of tech-savvy young collaborators and experience the rough-and-ready, solution-focussed community of the Hackathon.

We will supply a range of technologies and BYOD is also welcome. See the presentations and awards from 4.30pm−5.00pm. Participating young people will not require supervisors.

Do you want your whole class to participate? Please contact us directly to arrange a separate Hackathon day tailored for your school learn@maas.museum.
