In this short workshop for families, participants will be introduced to the basics of block coding using the Make Block mBot.

The mBot is a STEM coding robot that makes learning programming simple and fun.

Each robot has a range of motors and sensors that can be programmed using block-based coding. During the workshop participants will complete a series of challenges that will develop their logical and computational thinking skills.

This family-friendly short workshop is designed to encourage conversations between young learners and adults that establish a framework for learning to continue at home.

Recommended for ages 7+. Children must be accompanied by an adult, although one adult may accompany multiple children within a small group. Bookings essential for all participants (children and adults).
