Discover more about Powerhouse Parramatta, engage with the Museum’s STEM learning activities as well as learn about its iconic collection at the Powerhouse Community Space at Parramatta Square.

Join us for free, walk-up STEM workshops aimed at children between 8 and 12, or drop-in for STEM table activities for ages 4+. Taking place on Saturdays beginning on 10 April and running through until 29 May, the workshops are bookable on arrival and run for 45 minutes.

Sessions take place at 11am, 12pm and 1pm on Saturday, with drop-in activities available in-between workshops.

VISITOR SAFETY ADVICE

In line with the recent advice from NSW Health, face masks are mandatory from 5.00pm Thursday 6 May to 12.01am Monday 17 May. Please bring your own mask. Until Monday 17 May, visitors are also unable to dance, sing or drink while standing in an indoor venue. We are taking precautionary measures based on NSW Health advice for all Powerhouse events to keep our visitors and staff safe.

Any visitors who have visited one of the identified venues on the NSW Health list or have any cold or flu symptoms, should delay their visit.

Powerhouse Community Space is located at Parramatta Square, sitting directly above the Parramatta Transport Interchange.

The Powerhouse Community Space at Parramatta Square is also open on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the community to learn about how Western Sydney’s first Cultural Institution will transform arts and culture in the region, including a virtual reality (VR) glimpse into what the new Museum will look like.
