Discover more about Powerhouse Parramatta, engage with the Museum’s STEM learning activities as well as learn about its iconic collection at the Powerhouse Community Space at Parramatta Square.

Join us for free, walk-up STEM workshops aimed at children between 8 and 12, or drop-in for STEM table activities for ages 4+. Taking place on Saturdays, the workshops are bookable on arrival and run for 45 minutes.

Sessions take place at 11am, 12pm and 1pm, with drop-in activities available in-between workshops.

VISITOR SAFETY ADVICE

The Powerhouse prioritises the health of our visitors, members, volunteers and our staff. Following NSW Health’s Public Health Order, face masks are now mandatory when visiting the Powerhouse Community Space. Any visitors who have visited one of the identified venues on the NSW Health list or have any cold or flu symptoms, should delay their visit.

Powerhouse Community Space is located at Parramatta Square, sitting directly above the Parramatta Transport Interchange.

ALSO OPEN TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS

The Powerhouse Community Space at Parramatta Square is also open on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the community to learn about how Western Sydney’s first Cultural Institution will transform arts and culture in the region, including a virtual reality (VR) glimpse into what the new Museum will look like.
