Learn, create and play in a Minecraft world specially constructed by Powerhouse.

In this workshop, young participants will be guided through Minecraft activities and games, exploring musical note blocks before changing into creative mode to compose their own musical Minecraft creation.

This workshop uses Minecraft Education Edition, a game-based learning platform that promotes creativity, collaboration and problem-solving in an immersive digital environment. Participants will be provided with computers for the workshop to develop their computer literacy with keyboard and mouse skills. The Minecraft world used in this workshop is safe, private and accessible only at Powerhouse.

Participants are asked to bring their own lunch and a hat as lunchtime activities may take place outdoors.

For ages 7–12. Where appropriate classes will be split into groups of 7–9 and 9–12-year-olds.
