Digital Animation Workshops

Duration: 3 Hours
Community Space8 - 12 Years
19 June & 17 July 2021, 11am – 2pm Powerhouse Community Space

Dive into the playful world of digital drawing and animation!

Held at the Powerhouse Community Space at Parramatta Square, young creatives will learn the basics of frame-by-frame animation using the popular FlipaClip app. By combining illustration, image and sound, you’ll be well on your way to creating your own hand-drawn animation.

This 45-minute workshop for eight- to 12-year-olds is run by Powerhouse Museum in partnership with visual artist Gillian Kayrooz – recipient of Create NSW’s Young Creative Leaders Fellowship in 2018.

Workshops start at 11am, 12 noon and 1pm and are bookable on arrival.

Don’t have time for a full session? Drop in for some fun STEM activities. Produce a short video of your art using stop-motion techniques.

Workshops are free to attend. Please note, workshop spaces are limited.
