Join Powerhouse senior exhibition designer, Hugh O’Connor and assistant curator, Nina Earl for an informative 45-minute webinar, where you will learn insights on successfully interpreting exhibition themes and concepts through exhibition design.
Drawing on their many years’ experience, Hugh and Nina will take you through the steps involved in the cohesive realisation of themes through examples of exhibitions they have worked on at the Powerhouse.
Hugh O’Connor is a performance-maker and creative director with over a decade’s experience making work that spans live performance, events, exhibitions and installations. He has created work for companies including Sydney Opera House, Bell Shakespeare, Mardi Gras and Vivid Sydney.
Nina Earl is a curator and science communicator at the Powerhouse. She has extensive experience in the design and development of interdisciplinary exhibitions, her most recent being Design for Life and Eucalyptusdom.
This webinar is designed for tertiary regional students, museum staff and volunteers, and the collecting sector. A 30-minute presentation will be followed by a 15-minute Q+A session.
