In this workshop young participants will be introduced to the basics of coding and robotics through a series of fun activities, technologies and games.
Starting the day unplugged, they will work together to give instructions and solve problems, through a series of group challenges.
Participants will use a block-based coding program to control robots and perform tasks, and get the unique opportunity to meet some of the robots that live at the Museum ― including learning to drive a replica of the Mars Rover, Perseverance.
This workshop, available on three dates, is suitable for ages 7–9 years.
Please note due to COVID-19 restrictions parents may not attend. Participants are asked to bring their own lunch.
Advance bookings are essential, as capacity is limited to 10 participants per workshop.
