Castle Hill Creative Residency Program
Parramatta Artists’ Studios Open Powerhouse Residency
PAS Open is a series of short-term residency projects that take place both online and on-site across Western Sydney facilitated by Parramatta Artists’ Studios. As part of this program, the Powerhouse is partnering with Parramatta Artists’ Studios to offer two artists fully subsidised studio space at Powerhouse Castle Hill.
The residencies support artists to undertake self-directed research and create new work. Artists also have the opportunity to engage with the Powerhouse collection to deliver a public program, talk or workshop at the end of their residency. EJ Son, a locally-based Korean Australian artist and Andy Butler, an artist, writer and curator based in Melbourne will undertake on-site residencies for four weeks in May and June 2022 respectively.
